We can always tell that winter has arrived, even if not officially! The number of visitors to this site drops significantly: people just aren’t thinking about buying or selling bikes! We know the feeling - winter is more or less upon us too (in terms of temperature, if not officially), and it’s suddenly got a whole lot harder to get on that bike.
Around this time there are less sales of bikes generally, but paradoxically (though not unexpectedly, if you think about it), the number of cheap, second-hand bikes on the market increases. This is because people are offloading this year’s model before it becomes last year’s - and because of the relatively low demand, this time of year (November-December) is probably the BEST time of year to grab a cheap bike from eBay!
So check out our many cheap bike categories from the left-hand menu - for example, cheap Cannondale mountain bikes, cheap Giant mountain bikes, cheap Campagnolo road bikes, as well as various cheap bikes parts.
I am definitely looking at replacing my long-suffering Scott this winter - hope I can save enough pennies before all the cheap bikes are gone and the new season rolls around. It’ll be here before we know it..!
