Cannondale's stated mission is "...To create innovative, quality products that inspire cyclists around the world." Cannondale develops and produces bicycles at its factory in Bedford, Pennsylvania and was originally founded in 1971 by Joe Montgomery to produce outdoor gear, but later turned its hand to bikes (and to motor vehicles, an ill-fated move). It was Cannondale who pioneered the technology to mass-produce and market aluminium frames. Some previous Cannondale models you might find in our listings are: the Caffeine models (including the 29er), the Scalpel and the Rush. Not all of the bikes are the latest models, but who cares! Wouldn't you rather have last year's model at a great price, sold on by some fashion-victim who always has to have the latest model, than spend twice as much on a brand new bike?!
