What's this all this red stuff about? This site is unique in that it is dedicated solely to the colour red! We certainly haven't found another site like it! Our aim is to make this site THE place to come for all things red - where you can buy red stuff, see red pictures and learn all about the wonderful colour red . We hope in the future to make this site much more of a community effort. But for now, enjoy browsing through the wonderful redness, and make sure you sign up to the RSS feed to stay up to date. Is shopping secure in the Red Store? Yes - our red store is affiliated to top online retailers such as Buy.com, Amazon.com and eBay. So when you decide on your purchase and click on the desired red item, you will be taken through to the online ordering page of the retailer in question, where you can continue to order your red things in complete security through these well-known and respected retailers. At no point will you be asked to give us your credit card details! How does the Amazon shopping cart work? The shopping cart is a special feature available only for Amazon products. With it, you can "collect" any Amazon items (you can tell these because below them there is a button saying "Add to Shopping Cart") in your cart and then when you are ready to order you can go to your Amazon cart (here) and finish your order by pressing Buy from Amazon.com. If you want to buy something that is not available through Amazon you will have to go through to the seller's site to buy the item and then come back to It's Gotta Be Red if you want to buy anything else. Why are prices not always shown? Sorry about that, we would love to be able to show the current price of ALL items, but it just isn't practically possible sometimes - for one reason or another our suppliers do not always provide the current price. Wherever we DO have the price, this is clearly shown. And if you click on the See (more) details button below such products, you will be taken to the main supplier page where you CAN see the current price, with no obligation to buy at that point. Why is there a [so-and-so] on your site that isn't red?! WHAAAAT?! Show it to us and we will terminate with extreme prejudice! Seriously though, although It's Gotta Be Red does strive to make this a green-grey-black-blue etc.-free zone, things do sneak through every now and then. Most of our products are hand-picked, so this doesn't happen with those, but some product listings (like the Red Rides) are generated automatically, so anything that is incorrectly labelled as being red, or where the picture doesn't necessarily show a red version of whatever it is you are looking for, can potentially get past us. However, we will continue the struggle for red purity and we hope you do not find the appearance of the odd non-red thing too offensive! |
